Lemon Sesame Wild Caught Tuna -Paleo

I made this Young Wild Caught Tuna Steak with sesame lemon sauce fresh off the Oregon coast for my brother’s wedding. It did not disappoint!

Young tuna is superior in nutrients and doesn't contain the mercury or radiation that older tuna does. For acne and gut healing we need a balance of omega 3 fatty acids (fish) to omega 6 fatty acids (nuts/seeds/grains). So, you can eat more wild-caught fish.

Watch out for high mercury fish like tuna and also you should avoid farmed fish that are fed corn and soy so these fish don’t contain the adequate amounts of omega 3s as they should. Focus on more fatty fish like:

  • sardines

  • anchovies

  • mackerel

  • herring

  • bass

  • cod

  • halibut

  • whitefish

  • salmon.
