Today you will learn SIMPLE nourishing Herbs for your Skin Health
Nutritive Herbs
Alfalfa, Nettles, Milky oat tops, & Horsetail
Uses:
Tea
Infuse the herbs in apple cider vinegar and use in dressings (Just fill jar full of nettles or horsetail then add apple cider vinegar to cover. Let sit for 2-3 weeks. This draws out the minerals and vitamins.)
Add to meals: Sprinkle dried nettle on top of salads, or steam/saute after freshly harvested.
Organ Stimulating Herbs
Liver Support Herbs: Milk Thistle, Burdock Root, Dandelion, Chicory root, Turmeric
Acne Poultice: Chaparral & Yellow Dock
Directions:
Taking the powders of each, add warm filtered water until it forms a paste.
Place the paste on a clean gauze, or warmed washcloth.
Make sure your face is clean and add some jojoba oil to the skin so as to keep the paste from sticking to any sensitive areas.
Lay on your back and place the poultice onto the specific areas on your face. (making sure the poultice is warm enough)
You can keep the poultice on for up to 3 hours.
Stress Support Herb: Gotu Kola
Indicated for anxiety, depression, fatigue, memory, stress, Aids in circulation, wound healing, and trauma
