Easy Homemade Nut or Seed Milk

Nuts and seeds are difficult to digest proteins and must be soaked and dehydrated to improve digestion and absorption of nutrients.

Follow the soaking times and recipe provided to moderately incorporate these crispy protein additions.

To make it easier on yourself, start with the highlighted nuts which don't need to be soaked to improve digestion.

Easy Homemade Nut or Seed Milk

Paleo - Dairy Free and Gluten Free

  • prep time: 10 min

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup warm water
  • 1 cup soaked nuts or seeds

Instructions:

  1. Soak the nut/seeds.
  2. Blend ingredients in a high speed blender.
  3. Place your nut milk bag in a large wide mouth jar.
  4. Pour the blended nut mixture into the nut milk bag jar.
  5. Squeeze out the nut milk using your hands and milk bag.
  6. Tips: add a combination of a little turmeric, cinnamon, maple syrup, honey and/or cardamom for more flavor.
